Remote learning
Work for individual self-isolation
Woodlands aims to provide an ambitious and broad curriculum in all subjects. We have extensive plans for providing remote education where needed and ensuring that the small number of children that need to be educated at home, for example, due to shielding or self-isolation, are given the support they need to continue learning.
Remote learning expectations of children, parents and teachers
If your child has to self isolate for 10 or 14 days, they will need to access the work posted below.
Work for school lockdown
In the case of a class or school lockdown, the teachers will post work on a shared platform.
Your child's class teacher will be working remotely to set work that the children can complete online and return using the TEAMs platform. Your child's teacher will be 'checking in' with the children daily to ensure that they access, understand, and complete the work set.
